Knights of Columbus — This fraternal organization for Catholic men 18 years and older, is guided by four principles:  charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.  St. James Council is named Our Lady of White Lake, No. 12985, and has approximately 132 members.  Our council is dedicated to service to the parish and to the community and focuses its volunteering efforts and financial resources mainly on three areas:  St. James Youth Group, Right-to-Life, and the mentally impaired.  Men who join the Knights of Columbus may come to know one another better and grow in their Catholic faith.  Knights of Columbus are people who want to “make a difference” in their communities.

Meets: First Sunday of every month at 7 p.m.

Knights of Columbus Auxiliary

Knights of Columbus Auxiliary — The Auxiliary is a Catholic organization formed for the following purposes:

  1. To enhance spiritual growth in faith and sociability among the members.
  2. To engage in charitable and civic endeavors.

Membership eligibility includes all wives, widows and adult daughters, age 18 years and older, of Knights in good standing, and all Catholic women and all men not eligible for Knights membership.  Members of the Auxiliary need not be Catholic.

Meets:  First Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m.

St. Jude’s Circle

St. Jude Circle — The last of many women’s guilds in our parish.  This guild promotes fellowship and friendship and supports one another in times of need.  The guild offers a social gathering for women as they meet monthly for lunch.  Members also assist with the Clothing Closet and Funeral Luncheon ministries.
