Reaching out to the poor through works with various ministries is what we as Christians are called to do.  These works include the Clothing Closet, Habitat for Humanity, assisting with requests from our Christian Tithing fund, the White Lake Giving Tree, and the Monthly Miracle Drive (in coordination with Lebanon Lutheran Church and the White Lake Area Food Pantry).

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity — Founded in 1976, Habitat for Humanity is a worldwide non-profit housing organization seeking to eliminate substandard housing by building decent, affordable homes for families who cannot afford to purchase them through conventional means.  Construction volunteers are needed for houses built in the White Lake area.  Whether you have one hour, one day, or two weeks to spare, there is always work available for people of all skill levels.

Monthly Miracle Drive

Monthly Miracle Drive — A variety of items are collected each month including food, paper products, and school supplies.  These items are placed in a container in the Narthex and delivered to Lebanon Lutheran Church who then distributes these items to the needy throughout White Lake.  Check the bulletin for Miracle Drive needs.
