Hello Fish Friars!!! Thank You! Thank You!! Thank You!!! for making our 2024 Lenten Fish Fry a HUGE success!!! Without all of you we would not be able to accomplish this event. For our final night of Fish Fry 2024 we served 847 meals!!! Approximately 410 dined in Hall and 437 carry out meals. This year we surpassed for the first time serving 6,000 meals for a total of 6,149!!! The recipient of our “6,000th Customer Award” (free dinner) went to Penny Loeb, a Prince of Peace parishioner out of North Muskegon!!! She kindly donated back a $20 bill. Hello Fish Friars!! Fish Fry! Fish Fry!! Fish Fry!!! We had another good night thanks to ALL our Great Volunteers!! Approximately 478 carryouts & 509 in-Hall diners made for 987 fish meals served!!! The 50/50 made a whoppin’ $408! Next week will be our Final Fish Fry for Lent 2024. Tell your friends and have your friends tell their friends and let’s send this final 2024 Fish Fry off with a blast!! Thanks again for all your hard work! Tom & Carol

Hello Fish Friars!!! Fish Fry! Fish Fry!! Fish Fry!!! A BIG Thanks to Everyone for a great night serving 947 meals!!! Special thanks to those Volunteers out in the rains ….. the “Runners” who danced their way through the raindrops delivering 279 meals out to customer cars. Good Job! We served approximately 530 carryout meals (online, phone ins, walk ins) and 417 in Hall Diners. The 50/50 Winner of $346 was none other than Tom Bart!!! Congrats! Hello Fish Friars!! Fish Fry! Fish Fry!! Fish Fry!!! We exceeded Fr.Peter’s goal and served 1,008 meals tonight!!!! Hall seating was approximately: 485. Carryout/ Online orders: 523. Congrats to our 50/50 Winner Tim Korthase! Our Volunteers are the reason our Council raises this money that we give back to Catholic good causes. Thank You!!! God’s Blessings on all of you! Hello FIsh Friars!! We had another busy successful night! Carol turned her computer off too early, went to eat & didn’t realize there were still Volunteers checking meals out in the Narthex….. So (correction) our total meals served tonight is: 899!!! In hall dining (approximate): 417. Carryouts (approximate): 482. A BIG shout out to our very generous 50/50 winner, Diane Obuds who donated her $266 winnings back to the Knights!! Thank you Diane!!! WZZM13 is once again having their Fish Fry Frenzy contest & St.James has been included in the brackets! Please don’t forget to VOTE!!! See attached link. And always…. Hello Fish Friars!! Our second week has been another BIG Fish Fry Success!!! 479 Carryout meals. 380 in Hall Diners. TOTALS…. 859! Sadly we once again ran out & had no food for about 50 people. Next week we will have enough to serve 1000 meals. What a success! Carol & I thank each of you for your selfless sharing of your time! Thank You!! Tom & Carol
FEBRUARY 9TH, 2024:
Hello Award Winning Fish Friars! We have had another hugely successful night! Our last year Week #1 attendance was 485. This year we grew to a whopping 602 meals and it’s not even Lent yet! We estimate about half of the 602 were in Hall Diners and it was bulging!! We are truly blessed to have so many high quality volunteers who dig in and get it done! Thanks so much for all you do! At about 6:30 Jason Zwart stood outside to tell upcoming customers we only had shrimp left and estimated about 50 cars passed through & unfortunately left the lot. Please let your police, firefighters, 1st responders, military & veteran friends know about our first week, February 9th meal for only $7.00. As always, our Volunteers get a $7.00 meal for all you do. Thank you Volunteers for making our award winning Fish Fry a joy.
